Introduction
The wire thread insert is made of high-quality stainless steel
wire, with a rhombus cross-section, which is mechanically wound
into a spring-shaped thread. The diameter of the wire thread insert
is larger than that of the screw hole. When installed, the wire
thread insert is compressed and tightened and springs back to its
original shape after installation, so that the thread insert is
permanently fixed in the screw hole. Because of its larger
diameter, the wire thread insert has a larger contact surface and
is stronger than the original thread.
